DAY 1 : Arrival at Chennai International Airport

Assistance at Chennai International Airport, then transfer to the hotel. Start your Chennai Capital City tour. In the afternoon, visit some of the important sightseeing places of Chennai like Fort St. George, St. Mary’s Church, St. Thomas Church, Marina Beach and Kapaleeswarar Temple dedicated for Lord Shiva, one among the three principal deities of Hindus. Overnight stay in Chennai.

DAY 2 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

In the morning, Get set to enjoy the Kanchipuram Temple Tour. Drive to the Silk city named “Kanchipuram”, an ancient capital of the Pallava dynasty ruled between 7th and 8th centuries. Visit the Ekambareswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva is the most famous one with tall towers, massive halls with sculptured pillars. Next, proceed to Kailasanathar Temple is one of the best religious places to visit and also meant for Lord Shiva is the finest specimen for Pallava architecture with beautifully carved sculptures built in 8th century. DAY 3 : Mahabalipuram

In the morning, visit the famous World Heritage UNESCO Sites Tour of Mahabalipuram. First, to the Sea Shore Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu, and then to Five Rathas “Five Chariots”, a monolithic structure, representing an unique style built by the Pallavas, then finally to Arjuna’s Penance, Varaha Cave and Krishna’s Butter Ball. Have a walk in the artisan’s streets who makes stone sculptures. Return back to the Hotel. One more night stay in Mahabalipuram.

DAY 4 : Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

In the morning, drive to Pondicherry. Check-in to the hotel. Start your Pondicherry City Tour in the late afternoon. Have a visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, an Ashram dedicated to Sri Aurobindo & “The Mother”. Have a visit to “The Church of Sacred Heart” and “Notre dame des Anges”, French Colony and markets. Have a rickshaw ride in the commercial streets. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight Stay in Puducherry.

DAY 5 : Pondicherry – Chidhambaram – Gangaikondacholapuram – Darasuram Temples – Kumbakonam

After the breakfast, drive for Heritage Tour in Kumbakonam. Enroute visit the famous Nataraja temple dedicated to Lord Shiva at Chidhambaram. Then continue your drive to visit the famous Shiva Temple at Gangaikondacholapuram which was built in the 11th century by the Chola dynasty, one of the World Protected UNESCO Site. Have a lunch in Kumbakonam city. In the late afternoon, visit the 12th century Chola temple Airavatesvara Temple in a small village named Darasuram. Then proceed your drive to the Hotel. DAY 6 : Kumbakonam – Thanjavur – Trichy

Start your day to experience the Thanjavur Sculptual Tour. Visit the famous Thanjavur Art Gallery which houses the collection of sculptures and statues, Saraswati Mahal Library Museum, Brihadeeswara Temple also known as Big Temple which is one of the World Heritage Monument built by the chola dynasty in the 10th century. In the afternoon, visit the Bronze Making Artisan’s Village to see the Bronze Casting and Tanjore Paintings. Then drive to Trichy. Climb the Rockfort Uchchipillayar Temple to visit a small Ganesha Temple at the top and also you can have a good panoramic view of the city from the rock. Overnight stay in Trichy.

DAY 7 : Trichy – Madurai

In the morning, Visit the famous places like ‘Amma Mandapam’ – the holy banks of River Cauvery, where you can see the Hindu rituals after the cremation. It’s quite interesting to see the rituals performed by the Hindus with the help of the priest. Then proceed for Srirangam Spiritual Tour. Visit the famous Vishnu temple called Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam, the most important pilgrimage centre for the Hindus. Drive to Madurai. DAY 8 : Madurai – Kanyakumari

In the afternoon start your Kanyakumari City Trip by visiting the important places at Kanyakumari like Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where you can see a temple dedicated for great Philosopher and Saint Swami Vivekananda. You have to go this place by ferry. While you are in ferry, you can see a huge Thiruvalluvar Statue of Great Tamil Poet Tiruvalluvar who wrote 1330 verses preaching the morals of human life. Visit the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial and Kumari Amman Temple. In the evening see the Sunset. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

DAY 9 : Kanyakumari – Kovalam

After the breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Have a relax in the beach resort. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

DAY 10 : Kovalam

Day free to relax. One more night stay in Kovalam.

DAY 11 : Kovalam – Alleppey Backwaters

This is the day for you to enjoy the Alleppey House Boat Tour. After the breakfast, drive to Alleppey “the land of backwaters”. In the afternoon check in the houseboat and have a delicious lunch and enjoy the cruise in the Vembanadu Lake for about 5 hours. In the evening, your boat will be stopped nearby one village and take your dinner in the boat itself. Have a comfortable stay in the houseboat. The A/c will be switched on between 8:30 PM and 06:00 AM. Overnight stay in Alappuzha.

DAY 12 : Alleppey – Thekkady

You can have your Spice Plantation Tour today. Drive to Thekkady. In the afternoon after reaching Thekkady “the frontier between Tamil Nadu and Kerala”, have a guided visit to the Spice plantations to know about the medicinal values about the spices like cardamom, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, green chilly, pepper etc. In the evening, attend the Martial Arts Show called Kalaripayattu in Malayalam Language. You can do Elephant Ride and Traditional Ayurvedic Massage which are optional. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

DAY 13 : Thekkady – Munnar

This day is to experience the Adventure Tour in Thekkady. In the morning have a boat ride in Periyar Forest Lake. After the breakfast, drive to enjoy the Munnar Hill Station Tour. Have a rest in the hill resort. Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 14 : Munnar – Kochi

Drive to Cochin (Kochi). Explore the Cochin City Tour. In the evening attend the Kerala Traditional Dance Show named “KATHAKALI”. For this dance performance, the makeup starts at 05:30 PM. You can also see the makeup of dance artists and can take photos. Overnight stay in Kochi.

DAY 15 : Kochi

After the Breakfast, visit the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town. Return Back to Fort Cochin. Have a visit to some important monuments and churches belong to 15th and 16th centuries. First visit the St. Francis Church, the oldest protestant church built by the Portuguese in 1510, where you can see the tomb of a Portuguese Sailor Vasco-da-gama. Then to Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Catholic Church, Dutch Cemetery and Chinese Fishing nets. One more night stay in Kochi.

DAY 16 : Kochi – Ooty

In the morning drive for another Hill Station Trip in Ooty. Enroute have a stop at Coonoor to board a Nilgiri Mountain Train to leave for Ooty (Udagamandalam). Your tour driver will drop and Pick you from the Railway Junction. Drive to the Hotel. Have a rest in the hill resort. Overnight stay in Ooty.

DAY 17 : Ooty

In the morning, visit the famous Botanical Garden and Rose Garden. Have a walk in the spice markets. Have a rest in the hill resort. One more night stay in Ooty.

DAY 18 : Ooty – Bandipur

This day you can Adventure Trip in Bandipur. Have a visit to the Elephant Camp. Do some forest activities which are optional. Some activities like Bird Watching, Nature walk are not complimentary. Please contact the resort directly about the tariff of each activity which are chargeable. Have a nice stay in a Forest resort. Overnight stay in Bandipur.

DAY 19 : Bandipur – Mysore

This day is fully to joy yourself with Mysore Heritage Tour. In the morning drive to Mysore (Mysuru) “Silk City”. Visit the important places of Mysore. Have a visit to Mysore Maharaja Palace, a huge complex belongs to 19th century designed by an Italian architect “Henry Irwin” and built by the Wodeyars. Then have a drive to Chamundi Hills to visit the famous Chamundeshwari Temple and Bull Temple. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Mysuru.

DAY 20 : Mysuru

In the morning visit the Devarajah Market, an old market housed in a heritage building. In the afternoon visit the Somnathpur Chenna Keshava Temple which was built in 12th century by the Hoysala Dynasty. This temple is very impressive with beautiful sculptures and ornated pillars. Have a drive to Srirangapatna to visit the historical and capital city of great Muslim Warrior “Tipu Sultan”. Return back to Mysore. Have a rest in the hotel. One more night stay in Mysuru.

DAY 21 : Mysuru – Hassan

After the breakfast, drive to have Sculptural Tour in Hassan. Enroute visit the most popular Jain pilgrimage centre called “Shravanabelogola”. This place is known for its Colossal monolithic statue of Gomateshwara. You can able to see a huge statue of 17m high in the hilltop. If you are not able to climb 650 kms, you can hire DOLI service and pay directly. Then continue your drive. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Hassan.

DAY 22 : Hassan

This is the day to feast your eyes for an Architectural Trip in Hassan. Visit the Hoysaleshwara temple in a small village called Halebid and Chenna Kesava Temple at Belur. Both the temples belong to the Hoysala dynasty of 12th century depicts the detailed architecture of Hoysala dynasty. Drive back to the Hotel. One more night stay in Hassan.

DAY 23 : Hassan – Bangalore

In the morning drive to Bangalore (Bengaluru) “Garden City Tour”. Visit the famous places like Lal Bagh Gardens and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. Continue your drive. Have a rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Bengaluru. 

DAY 24 : Departure from Bengaluru

This day you will be transferred to Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru as per your flight schedule back to home!
