Itinerary

01

Day 1 : Arrival in Chennai

Upon arrival at the airport, you will meet Our Holy Tree Travel representative who is waiting (with Placard where mention your name) to give a warm welcome, and later he will take you respectfully to your hotel, which is previously reserved.

On the way to the hotel, you will enjoy the surroundings and watch the lively movement of people in Chennai.

After upon arrival at the hotel, our representative will hand over all the travel documents & discuss your tour itinerary in the hotel lobby and after that, he will help you to check-in formalities. Overnight at the hotel in Chennai.

Day 2 : Chennai – Sightseeing

Post breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy the sightseeing of Chennai including Fort St. George, Government Museum, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Santhome Cathedral Basilica etc. After lunch, you will do shopping in Chennai which is one of the best cities for shopping in India.

Later afternoon, you will spend an amazing time on the Marina Beach with beach food. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Chennai – Tirupati (133 km/ 3.5 hrs by road)

Early morning breakfast at the hotel & drive to Tirupati.

Tirupati is one of sacred town of India & the abode of the Hindu god Venkateshwara, Lord of Seven Hills which is a fine example of Dravidian art and is one of the most important pilgrimage centres in India.

Upon arrival, you will have Darshan of Lord Venkateswara & Aarti Overnight at hotel in Tirupati.

Day 4 : Tirupati – Kanchipuram (111 Kms / 2.5 hrs by road )

Post breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kanchipuram.

Kanchipuram is an ancient city of South Indian state of Tamil Nadu & considered as the holy pilgrimage site by Hindus, home to many temples.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later visit Sri Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple, Kailasanathar Temple which is the oldest structure in Kanchipuram & dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Then visit Ekambaranathar Temple which is very significant as associated with the five elements, the Pancha Bhoota Stalas & visit Varadharaja Perumal temple etc.

Day 5 : Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (67 Kms / 1.5 hrs by road )

Post breakfast at hotel drive to Mahabalipuram is a coastal town located in the Bay of Bengal in South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is very famous for its ancient temples & monuments built by the Pallava dynasty in the 07th and 08th centuries.

Upon arrival visit Shore Temple which is one of the oldest structural stone temples of South India & its also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984. Later visit Krishna's Butter Ball, Descent of the Ganges, Group of Monuments etc.

Evening, you will enjoy the peaceful beach of Mahabalipuram. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Mahabalipuram –Pondicherry ( 96 Kms /02 hrs by road)

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel then drive to Pondicherry.

Pondicherry was a French colony situated on the south-eastern coastline of India and is very popular for its glorious past & it has a beautiful coastline that attracted lots of tourist from all over the world as well as India.

Upon arrival visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry Museum, Matrimandir- Auroville where you can do meditation. Later we will visit Paradise Beach which is the largest & cleanest beach of the Union Territory.

After that back to hotel & leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Kumbakonam - Tanjore (176 Kms / 05 hrs by road)

After breakfast at hotel drive to Tanjore, en-route visit Chidambaram. Upon arrival visit Thillai Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram dedicated to Natarajan – a form of Lord Shiva.Later drive to Kumbakonam & visit Nageswaran Temple, Kasi Viswanathar Temple, Mottai Gopura Vasal Athi Kumbeshvarar Temple.

Later drive to Kumbakonam & visit Nageswaran Temple, Kasi Viswanathar Temple, Mottai Gopura Vasal Athi Kumbeshvarar Temple.

Later drive to Tanjore, upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Tanjore – Trichy (60 km /1.2 hrs by road )

Post breakfast at hotel visit Brihadeeswara Temple which is one of the largest & famous temples in South India, later visit Thanjapureswarar Temple etc.Then drive to Trichy.

Trichy is one of the ancient city of Southern state of Tamil Nadu & also well known for sacred Hindu sites Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple.

Upon arrival, visit Ranganathaswamy Temple, Tiruvanaikovil Arulmigu Jambukeswarar & Shri Erumbeeswarar Temple.

Later, back to hotel & rest of the day free for leisure/shopping.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 :Trichy – Madurai (132 km / 2.5 hrs by road )

Post breakfast at hotel drive to Madurai is one of the oldest city in Indian State in Tamilnadu which is very famous for its rich heritage & promoting Tamil culture.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & take some rest. Later visit Shri Koodal Azhagar Temple which is one of the famous temples of Lord Vishu. After that visit Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam (If time permits) which is temple pond mainly used for devotional festivals & it has a total of 12 long stairs made of granite on all four sides.

Evening visit Meenakshi Amman Temple which is dedicated to Thirukamakottam udaya aaludaiya nachiyar, a form of Parvati & also you will enjoy evening ceremony at the Temple.

Later back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Madurai – Rameswaram ( 172 Km / 3.5 hrs by road)

Post breakfast at the hotel, drive to Rameswaram.

Rameswaram is a major Hindu pilgrimage centre where Shiva is worshipped in the form of a Jyotirlinga meaning "pillar of light". It's a very wonderful place in nature as much as religious.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day free for leisure / relax on the beach.

Day 11 : Rameswaram – Sightseeing

Post breakfast, we will proceed to visit Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agni Teertham which is one of the most visited Tirthams of Rameswaram for a holy bath.

Then you will enjoy Dhanushkodi Beach Point for leisure, later back to hotel & overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Rameswaram – Kanyakumari (308 Kms /6.5 hrs by road)

Post breakfast at hotel drive to Kanyakumari.

Kanyakumari is a land ends beautiful town of the southern part of India & also known as Cape Comorin in the British period that very famous for sunrise and sunset over the ocean. Its also a very famous pilgrimage site that attracted a lot of tourist from all over the globe.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & take some rest. Afternoon if you want you can enjoy the spectacular sunset view from the sunset point. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Kanyakumari – Kovalam (82 kms / 2.5 hrs by road )

Post breakfast at hotel visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Our Lady of Ransom Church, Bagavathi Amman Temple – dedicated to Hindu Lord Shiva, Bharat Mata Temple etc.

Later drive to Kovalam. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Kovalam – Free day for leisure on the beach.

Post breakfast, leisure on the beach/water activities on your own.

Day 15 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam (18 kms/ 27 mints drive)

Post breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an excursion trip to Trivandrum Trivandrum is one of the oldest & famous colonial city with natural & cultural charm. Its offers a major variety of sights including wonderful museums, spectacularly designed palaces, holy temples and heavenly beaches that made the city one of the best tourist destinations in the Southern part of India.

Once reached visit including Sree Padmanabhaswamy, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum , Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, later spend some leisure time in Shangumugham Beach.

Later back to Kovalam. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16 :Kovalam – Alleppey (160 kms / 04 hrs by road )

After an early breakfast & check out from the hotel drive to Alleppey Living in houseboats is a lovely and peaceful experience overall. Kerala has some fantastic houseboats that are well built. These houseboats are known as kettuvallam. Also, they have a famous cruise over the calm backwaters of Kerala.

Upon arrival check-in at Houseboat & you will enjoy a hot Lunch & enjoy the heavenly landslip of a beautiful backwater.

Dinner at houseboat. Overnight at houseboat.

Day 17: Alleppey – Thekkady (Periyar National park) (140 kms/3.5 hrs by road)

Post breakfast, check out from the houseboat drive Thekkady.

Periyar National Park is also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve in the north there is a beautiful Lake which is called Periyar Lake that famous for the boat ride. This national park is home to tigers and a major number of the elephant population, as well as unique lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards etc.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later enjoy the amazing boat ride in the Periyar lake. Later, enjoy Kalaripayattu which is one of the greatest martial art (3000 years old) & most scientific of all martial arts in the world.

Day 18 : Thekkady – Munnar (88 kms / 3.5 hrs by road)

The morning, we will enjoy nature walk & post a delicious breakfast drive to Munnar, en route enjoy spice plantation tour which is one of the main attraction

Munnar is one of the most beautiful hill stations located in the Western Ghats of Kerala. It is well known to be one of the most wonderful tourist destinations in India because of its spectacular valleys, beautiful mountains and exotic varieties of flora and fauna.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, the rest of the free for leisure / Nature walk at your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 : Munnar – sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel enjoy sightseeing of Munnar including Anamudi Peak which is the highest peak of South India. Later visit Christ Church & Eravikulam National Park, Madupetty Dam, Tea Museum etc.

Rest of the day free for leisure.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 20: Munnar – Cochin (123 km /04 hrs by road)

Post breakfast, drive to Cochin Cochin is also well known as the Kochi is situated on the southwest coast of the Indian state Kerala. Cochin is the ideal destination for exploring the culture, heritage & beauty of this wonderful state that attracted lots of tourist from all over the globe. Once reached at Cochin. Enjoy Cochin sightseeing including visit to Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace (Closed on Saturday) at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets.

Later evening, enjoy the Kathakali Dance show. Katha kali is a classical dance form which is originated from Kerala & deeply describe the culture of Kerala.

Day 21 :Cochin/Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel then transfer to Cochin airport to board on your homebound flight with a beautiful experience with us.
