Day 1: Arrival in Kochi- Heritage Bike Tour and Kathakali Performance

Reach at Cochin International Airport, transfer to Fort Kochi. Following the booking in a small heritage hotel in Kochi, have a bicycle tour of the colonial-era streets of Fort Kochi. Stop by Chinese fishing nets, Dutch cemetery and Spice markets in Mattancherry. Later that evening go and see kathakali performance and observe the elaborate makeup celebrations of the artists preceding the performance.

Day 2: Kerala Cooking Experience Spice Trail

Begin your morning to a led tour of Spice-scented lanes in Mattancherry. At a later stage, join a practical cooking lesson in a local house. Get to know how to make Kerala specialties such as appam and fish curry. One can visit Kochi art cafes and galleries in the afternoon.

Day 3: Munnar (by road) Water Falls, Tea Gardens and Camp Fire

Take a scenic drive to Munnar (approx. 4.5 hours), stopping at Cheeyappara or Valara waterfalls en route. Visit one of the tea estates as a tourist attraction and get a guided tour of the tea plantation to sample the tea. Enjoy the night around a bonfire in the stars, hearing about the folklore stories which are native to the area.

Day 4: Trekking & Kolukkumalai jeep safari

You can choose a Lakshmi-Hills moderate hike or a challenging Meesapulimala. After that, take a off-road jeep commute to the highest tea plantation in the world, at Kolukkumalai. Look at the factory of yesterday, look at the factory of the present times, drink high-altitude tea.

Overnight: Munnar

Day 5: Depart to Thekkady. Go on a boat trip around the lake, and watch a performance on martial arts.

Drive to Thekkady (approx. 3.5 hours) via spice-scented hills. Spend a peaceful boatride throughout Periyar Lake. Watch a performance of the martial arts known as Kalaripayattu arts in the evening.

Day 6: Bamboo Rafting, Jungle Walk and Spice Garden Tour

Begin by a relaxing trip on the Periyar River via a bamboo raft and also a nature walk with a guide. Visit local spice garden and understand the ways of growing spices of kerala in the afternoon. Free Ayurvedic healing.

Day 7: Alleppey backwaters : kayaking and houseboat stay

 Drive to Alleppey approx 4 hour. Take a kayak down tiny village canals, and see rural life along the water. In the afternoons, take a personal house boat and spend a calmed overnight journey that will feature fresh-cooked Kerela food.

Day 8: Marari Beach- Cycling & Sunset Yoga

After breakfast, drive to Marari Beach (approx. 1 hour).Take a guided bike ride to the coastal Towns or treat yourself with a relaxing yoga session at the beach in the evening

Day 9 Kumarakom – Bird Watching, Canoe Ride and Palm Weaving

Travel to Kumarakom (approx. 1.5 hours). The bird sanctuary can be visited and people can sail through canoe in the backwater channels. Attend a weaving workshop using palm leaves with the locals.

Day 10: Athirapally: Waterfalls-Forest Lodge Stay

Drive to Athirapally (approx. 3 hours). Visit the magnificent Athirapally Water Falls and forest areas. Have a campfire and local storytelling by the riverside at your eco-lodge in the evening.

Day 11: Tranfer to Calicut Beach walk & Heritage sites

Travel to Calicut (approx. 3.5 hours). See Kappad Beach, Mishkal Mosque and Pazhassiraja Museum. Come to a colorful shopping location, the SM Street market where you can purchase some snacks and souvenirs.

Day 12: Wayanad- Trekking and Tribal Village

Drive to Wayanad (approx. 3 hours). Have a forest trekking to Chembra Peak or nature trails. Visit a tribal village to know the life of indigenous and their traditions.

Day 13: Edakkal Caves Wildlife Safari

Visit a Edakkal caves and their ancient petrography .Take an afternoon Jeep safari in Wayanad Wildlife sanctuary to locate elephant ,deer and birds.

Day 14: Kannur – Heritage Tour & Sunset at the beach

Drive to Kannur (approx. 3 hours). Enjoy a heritage walk and visit the traditional weaving centers and the forts. Spend a quiet sunset in Payyambalam Beach.

Day 15: Forts and Cooking Class, Boat ride

Go to St. Angelo Fort, Arakkal Museum and Kannur Lighthouse. Go on a beautiful boat ride, then spend time on the Thottada Beach, or take a North Malabar cooking course.

Day 16: Departure out of Kannur or Mangalore

Spend a relaxing morning. It can remain an optional trip to visit local markets or a Theyyam ritual (depending on availability of a ritual). You will be transferred from the Kannur or Mangalore airport, to continue your journey.
